Been enjoying some time off some school and a much needed chance to do, well nothing. Also, a much needed chance to head to Houston and catch the rodeo, one of my favorite events of the year.
Rodeo style means sweet dresses, jean jackets and cute cowboy boots for me. It’s always fun to walk around the fair and check out everyone else’s rodeo style too, though I don’t know if I could pull off some of the all out rhinestone ensembles I saw last night. Still, it’s always fun to get a little dressed up and go out for a great time!

I swear, this is the PERFECT red lipstick! True Red by Laura Mercier
I woke of this Saturday morning and made the decision that it was finally time to take the plunge and find a hair salon here in Austin. See, I’m very particular about who I let cut my curly, thick hair. But not only did I find a great place (Paloma, near Mueller), but I found the courage to go for the pixie cut I’ve been admiring since it first showed up on Emma Watson all that time ago. So without further ado…

It topped 80 degrees for the first time this year (already!?!)…time to bring out dresses and skirts instead of sweaters, jeans and boots.

Another Jason Wu for Target dress taken out on the town

Also, please forgive the closet pic…I was having a hard time getting decent lighting outside.
